Day 1

First day of the blog. Here goes.

I felt really lousy on Wednesday during a slow ten mile run. I gave myself the day off on Thursday, hoping some rest would cure the problem.

My marathon was only ten days ago and I have taken it pretty easy since then but have not felt very strong. I guess that is to be expected. Well, today’s run was an easy 5.3 in 46:00. My HR was 130 average – so, a very easy run; a jog, in fact. And, I felt better. I think I need to keep in mind that my body is older and I need to go slow. Slow wins the race to 50.
